Search Engines

Find How: I liked this search engine because it will tell you how to do just about anything...I learned how to train my cat to do tricks.

Joongel: This site was helpful because the home page gives you all these sites for shopping, music, videos, images and much more.

Ant:  With ant, I like it because you search for what you need and it shows pictures of the websites with a little description.

Google

Collaberated documents are neat because 2 or more people can edit a document at the same time, and there's a chat feature. This would be good for doing assignments together at your own homes.You can also upload document files from your computer and work on them. That way you can connect anywhere on the internet and have access to the documents.

The wonder wheel is good for making searches more detailed and finding exactly what you need. I did a search on things to do in New York City and found a really cool website that will be useful for my trip there!

Google Maps

Google maps will give you directions anywhere. You can see how long it will take to get to your destination by car, walking, biking, or bus. Google gives you turn by turn directions. You can also zoom in on a map and see it with satellite.

Web Tools

Aviary is my favorite tool! Its a website where you can edit pictures, sounds, and much more. I used the photo editor, because I'm always taking pictures. I used my senior picture. I've always wanted to know how to make part of a picture color and the rest black and white. It was so easy..I just followed a tutorial. They have tutorials for every kind of way you want to edit a photo. Start using aviary here.

Add Ons

The Firefox add on I liked was ReminderFox. It's a calendar that you can add all your events, to do lists (which I make all the time), and alerts and alarms. To find useful add ons for yourself, go here.
